Job Title: Endpoint Engineer - 857. Location: Broomfield, CO, USA
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and drivers.
- Manage endpoint infrastructure across a geographically distributed enterprise.
- Configure and manage endpoints using enterprise technologies and established IT standards.
- Perform patch management, software updates, system optimization, and other routine maintenance.
- Create, manage, and deploy desktop images;
- Package and deploy applications across enterprise endpoints.
- Deploy and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for smartphones and tablets.
- Troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, operating system, and mobile device issues.
- Respond to user support requests and provide timely technical assistance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT engineering, enterprise applications, support, and other teams to integrate endpoint systems with network infrastructure and enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain documentation covering desktop configurations, mobile device policies, troubleshooting procedures, and workflows.
- Assist with hardware refresh cycles, software upgrades, and other desktop and mobile infrastructure projects.
- Monitor emerging endpoint technologies and industry trends;
- Proactively work with leadership, stakeholders, and end users to improve collaboration, support, and employee experience.
- Maintain endpoint infrastructure in accordance with IT best practices and the company's information security program.
- Support enterprise-wide IT strategy and roadmap initiatives.
- Respond to after-hours IT events or crises when required.
- Travel to other company sites when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 5 years of experience in heterogeneous desktop and endpoint administration.
- At least 5 years of experience with desktop imaging, deployment, and patch management.
- Experience reconfiguring systems, pruning unnecessary services, and optimizing endpoint performance.
- Proven experience as an Endpoint Engineer or in a similar position;
- Experience working with enterprise-level and geographically distributed IT environments.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Defender for Endpoint (DfE), and Intune.
- Experience supporting Mac and/or Linux endpoints at the enterprise level.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to document procedures and design workflows that improve workplace support.
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to employee satisfaction.
- Proficiency with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
- Ability to work reliably and flexibly in a fast-moving business environment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator, ITIL, CompTIA A+, or similar certifications.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint.
- Experience implementing Microsoft Intune from the ground up.
- Experience with JAMF.
- Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central;
- Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and best practices.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and improving task efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT systems, services, hardware, peripherals, endpoint technologies, standards, and procedures.
- Experience working with Mobile Device Management solutions.

- This position is based in Broomfield, Colorado and is primarily on-site.
- The successful candidate will work as part of Quantinuum's global IT organization supporting scientific teams involved in quantum software, applications, and hardware development;
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-performing team is preferred.
- The role requires a collaborative, problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on end-user expectations.
- After-hours support may be required for events or crises.
