Staff Technical Account Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Staff Technical Account Manager Optimization. Location: Remote, United States

Lead technical engagements with North American customers. Act as a trusted advisor on quantum optimization solutions. Support integration and deployment of quantum computing platforms. Partner with sales, product, professional services, and business development teams to deliver customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Present quantum solutions to prospects and understand their computational challenges.
  • Map customer needs to company products and business value.
  • Communicate company vision, strategy, and product roadmap to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical presentations at conferences, webinars, and seminars.
  • Support marketing efforts through webinars, conferences, and industry events.
  • Conduct regular technical meetings during rollout, expansion, and support phases.
  • Identify new optimization projects that can leverage quantum solutions;
  • Build and maintain long term technical relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on quantum optimization and industry trends.
  • Communicate customer requirements to internal product and development teams.
  • Advocate for customer needs and identify professional service opportunities.
  • Provide advisory technical support for customer projects;
  • Clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Travel 30 to 50 percent for client meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a technical customer facing role such as Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solution Architect, or similar.
  • Strong foundation in optimization, operations research, algorithms, or applied mathematics.
  • At least 2 years of hands on Python experience in an enterprise environment;
  • Experience supporting clients in logistics, manufacturing, pharma, fintech, or research and education.
  • Experience with tools such as GitHub and REST APIs.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical content to diverse audiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience with logistics, scheduling, or resource allocation projects.
  • Experience in quantum computing.
  • Experience with AI or large language models.
  • Project management experience.
