Job Description
Job Title: IT Applications Team Lead. Location: Broomfield, CO, USA (Hybrid, up to 2 days remote per week)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of application administrators, analysts, and engineers responsible for enterprise applications, platforms, and tools.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise platforms, including Windows/Linux servers and containerized clusters (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Manage databases across multiple technologies (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Implement, configure, and support SaaS tools (Salesforce, Smartsheet, Box, Docusign).
- Integrate systems using iPaaS, APIs, and other tools, including Azure SSO enablement.
- Monitor system performance, availability, license usage, and stability of platforms;
- Own and maintain the applications inventory, including audits, approvals, and roadmap alignment.
- Coordinate with business units, program managers, and architects to define the applications roadmap.
- Develop and mature agile product development, support, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with security and financial controls, procedures, and audits;
- Support vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and renewals in cooperation with sourcing and procurement teams.
- Travel as needed, up to 10%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (minimum).
- 6+ years of experience deploying and supporting enterprise platforms and applications (Atlassian, Workday, Smartsheet).
- 6+ years of experience supporting engineering and software development tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, FlexLM).
- 6+ years of Windows and Linux system administration experience;
- U.S. Person status required (citizen, permanent resident, asylum/refugee).
- Must not be a national of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen.
Preferred:
- Proven experience leading technology teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
- Experience with virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
- Experience with app rationalization, audits, and utilization measurement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications and technical training.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $138,000 – $175,000, depending on skills and experience.
