Job Title: Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering. Location: Louisville, Colorado, United States
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite/Hybrid (with some remote flexibility)
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of electrical engineers across multiple offices.
- Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely project delivery.
- Build a collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture.
Project Execution and Oversight
- Oversee design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for spacecraft and quantum-related applications.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Support systems engineering requirements and integration efforts.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance in electrical design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering design, testing, and manufacturing processes.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with aerospace and high-reliability industry standards.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures across engineering activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware systems.
- At least 4 years of leadership or managerial experience;
- Strong experience in hardware R&D environments and high-reliability systems.
- Experience with test methodologies, including performance analysis, automation, and test suite development.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and similar equipment.
- Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
- Strong background in analog and digital circuit design;
- Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout tools such as Altium or similar CAD tools.
- Knowledge of PCBA fabrication and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and version control practices.
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in aerospace systems or other high-reliability industries.
- Experience in RF, microwave, or quantum hardware environments;
- Strong understanding of test automation and data analysis in hardware systems.
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions.

- Estimated base salary range: $192,000 to $220,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
