Job Description
Job Title: Senior Systems Software Security Engineer – Data Center Systems. Location: Colorado, USA (Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deliver security features for NVIDIA's Data Center Systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deploy and integrate security technologies.
- Develop security solutions focused on Root of Trust (RoT), secure boot, attestation, recovery, out-of-band management, debugging, and firmware security.
- Design and implement secure AI data center infrastructure and systems;
- Develop security architectures following industry standards and frameworks including OpenBMC, UEFI, TCG DICE, SPDM, PLDM, Redfish, NIST SP800-193, and CNSA 2.0.
- Drive security innovation across NVIDIA's AI, high-performance computing, and data center platforms.
- Support the full lifecycle of enterprise server security solutions from design through customer deployment.
- Participate in threat modeling, code auditing, incident response, testing, and CI/CD security processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of software and firmware security engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and secure system design;
- Experience with software development lifecycle security practices, including:
- Threat modeling
- Unit testing
- Incident response
- Code auditing
- CI/CD security
- Experience with Python, scripting, and system programming.
- Knowledge of modern server architectures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed and remote teams.
- Experience delivering enterprise server products from concept through customer deployment.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of data center server architectures.
- Experience with GPU deployment environments, including:
- High-Performance Computing (HPC)
- AI clusters
- Single-GPU and multi-GPU server environments
- Experience with modern data center networking architectures.
- Contributions to open-source security projects or industry standards;
- Experience with data center firmware and software management architectures.
- Strong understanding of Post-Quantum Cryptography migration and adoption.
- Experience with Linux security and application security.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Base salary range:
- Level 3: $152,000 - $241,500 annually
- Level 4: $184,000 - $287,500 annually
