Job Title: HSE Engineer - 918. Location: Broomfield, CO, USA
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE procedures and programs across Quantinuum's global operations.
- Ensure HSE programs align with international standards and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collect and analyze sustainability and ESG-related data and metrics.
- Monitor changes to ESG and sustainability standards, governance models, and international regulations and communicate relevant updates to leadership.
- Support global sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, and resource conservation;
- Manage chemicals and hazardous materials across global locations, including inventory, approvals, transportation, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Develop and deliver HSE training for engineers, scientists, technicians, and support staff, adapting training to regional regulations and cultural practices.
- Monitor compliance with international and local HSE laws and proactively communicate regulatory changes.
- Use HSE software, digital tools, and dashboards to track and report HSE performance metrics.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments at company sites to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations and support continuous improvement in HSE practices.
- Promote a healthy and safe work environment and help establish a consistent safety culture across the organization.
- Travel less than 10% to support HSE priorities and site requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 2 years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience in a technology, manufacturing, or industrial environment, or a Master's degree in an HSE/EHS-related program.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with HSE software;
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and global locations.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance and environmental programs.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of direct HSE experience in a technology, operations, or industrial environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or similar.
- Experience managing laser, electromagnetic, and cryogenic hazards.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Experience using digital HSE systems and reporting tools.

- Salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
