Job Description
Job Title: Internal Communications Intern (Strategic). Location: Broomfield, CO (On-site)
The intern will help design and deliver internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and connected to the company mission; This role offers hands-on experience in shaping communication strategy within a leading quantum technology company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of internal communication campaigns tied to business initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams such as HR, Marketing, and Technical groups to ensure consistent messaging and smooth change management processes.
- Help manage and organize internal communication calendars, supporting scalable and repeatable content planning.
- Contribute creative ideas for improving employee engagement, storytelling, and communication strategies.
- Draft and edit newsletters, announcements, FAQs, and leadership messages;
- Track and report on communication metrics to measure effectiveness and improve campaigns.
- Assist with video production tasks such as scripting, filming, and editing when needed.
Potential Summer Projects May Include:
- Supporting global communications programs across teams.
- Producing recurring updates like video content and newsletters with senior leaders.
- Gathering and analyzing employee feedback and metrics to improve communication tools;
- Assisting with HR-related communications, including performance reviews, surveys, and company-wide initiatives.
- Maintaining and updating communication platforms for accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (graduating on or after 2026).
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, or granted asylum/refugee status).
- Must not be a national of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen (due to national security requirements).
Preferred:
- Degree focus in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint;
- Experience or willingness to learn video production tools.
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset with ability to use data for communication improvements.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to work independently or in teams.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay range: $23–$26 per hour.
- Housing stipend up to $1000/month (if relocating from outside the state).
