Principal, Solutions Architect - Quantum

Job Title: Principal, Solutions Architect – Quantum. Location: US Remote (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical leader for strategic customer accounts.
• Partner with Strategic Account Executives on account planning and execution.
• Build trusted relationships with customer technical executives, researchers, and engineering leaders.
• Use industry experience to identify challenges suitable for quantum approaches;
• Define project scopes with customers aligned to Quantinuum’s research strengths.
• Prepare clear, structured proposals and high-quality technical and commercial materials.
• Provide market feedback to research teams to align roadmaps with industry needs.
• Maintain an up-to-date catalogue of industry-appropriate use cases.
• Stay current on advances in quantum technology and relevant industry news.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree minimum in relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial research programs in Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences, or Chemical and Materials industries.
• Must meet U.S. Person requirements (citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, asylum or refugee status).
• Must comply with U.S. national security restrictions (not a PRC or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen).

Preferred:

• PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred.
• Experience working with or exposure to quantum technologies.
• Proven track record in managing customer relationships and delivering complex projects.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical execution;
• Executive-level communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable partnering with sales leaders while maintaining independent technical judgment.

• Salary range: $180,000 – $226,000 annually (includes bonus target where applicable).
