Job Description
Job Title: Product Manager, Performance Management and Application Enablement. Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA
Hybrid work model
The position spans product development across quantum hardware abstraction, virtualization, HPC and on-premise deployments, quantum error correction architectures, and new quantum functions.
You will also help guide the technical evolution of Q-CTRL’s Fire Opal platform while working cross-functionally to drive successful product outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own the problem space and define opportunities, requirements, and solutions in emerging quantum product areas
- Lead the development and launch of new solvers, applications, and integrations across Q-CTRL’s product portfolio
- Define and manage product roadmaps with clear prioritization aligned to company strategy
- Collaborate closely with research, engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams;
- Iterate product features using customer feedback, data, and market trends
- Guide development teams in building scalable platform features
- Support go-to-market strategies and customer-facing product initiatives
- Present technical concepts clearly to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience in product management or a closely related role
- Proven experience defining product vision, strategy, requirements, and roadmaps
- Demonstrated success managing the full product development lifecycle;
- Experience working in highly technical environments with engineering teams
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-changing and ambiguous problem spaces
- Strong communication skills, including technical presentations to senior audiences
Preferred:
- Background or experience working with quantum computing, HPC, or advanced software platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise or on-premise software deployments
- Familiarity with quantum error correction concepts or quantum control systems
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: USD 165,000 to USD 220,000
- Eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses

Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, level, and location.
