Job Description

Job Title: Physical Security Program Manager, AWS Center for Quantum Computing

The Amazon Web Services Center for Quantum Computing (CQC) in Pasadena, CA is hiring a Physical Security Program Manager to support its Quantum Infrastructure and Production team; This role will lead the design and delivery of security solutions for the CQC, oversee multiple projects, and ensure that all physical security installations meet the highest standards; The role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of security solutions for the AWS Center for Quantum Computing
• Manage multiple security-related projects, ensuring clear communication on scope, risks, and change control
• Deliver physical security installations that meet required hardware and equipment standards;
• Track budgets, timelines, and adjust plans when necessary to ensure successful outcomes
• Act as an escalation point for project risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Enhance and report on key performance indicators to drive efficiency and continuous improvement
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to streamline processes;
• Collaborate with facilities, IT, and safety teams to ensure smooth execution of security programs
• Monitor facilities and metrics, troubleshoot anomalies, and ensure secure operations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL;
• Experience using data to track performance and drive improvements
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

Preferred:

• 3+ years of end-to-end project delivery with communication to senior leadership
• 3+ years of experience driving process improvements;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Proven ability to design processes, project schedules, and manage multiple stakeholders

Compensation:

• Base salary ranges from $66,800/year to $142,800/year, depending on location and experience;
