Job Description

Job Title: Senior Math Libraries Engineer, Post Quantum Cryptography. Location: Santa Clara, CA / Remote (USA)

Our Cryptography team develops advanced cryptography solutions, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs), designed to secure data across industries; Join our team to help shape the future of secure computing and influence high-performance cryptography software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize scalable, high-performance cryptographic primitives, algorithms, and building blocks for GPU architectures.
• Design robust software architectures that remain effective across multiple hardware generations;
• Collaborate with internal teams (product management, engineering) and external partners to define feature and performance requirements.
• Deliver timely releases of the cuPQC SDK and contribute to APIs, documentation, and developer experience.

Qualifications:

• PhD or MSc in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cryptography software development in low-latency or high-throughput environments.
• Strong mathematical foundations and expertise in cryptographic algorithms;
• Advanced C++ skills, including modern paradigms (template meta-programming, SFINAE, RAII, constexpr).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation habits.

Preferred:

• Experience developing libraries used by multiple users.
• Knowledge of CUDA C++ and GPU computing;
• Familiarity with software automation, including building (CMake) and testing (CI/CD, sanitizers).
• Understanding of finite field arithmetic, lattice-based cryptography, and cryptographic hash functions.

• Competitive salary: Level 4: $184,000 – $287,500; Level 5: $224,000 – $356,500 (USD), based on location and experience.
