Job Description

Job Title: AMS/RF Board Designer, Quantum AI. Location: Goleta, CA, USA

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance board-level RF, analog, and mixed-signal systems for quantum control and measurement.
• Support deployment and operation of electronic systems used in quantum computing infrastructure.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of next-generation quantum control systems.
• Collaborate with ASIC designers to create system-level solutions that improve density and performance.
• Lead and deliver complex board-level engineering projects from concept to deployment;
• Document engineering work, design decisions, and measurement results.
• Present technical findings to internal stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Support integration of designed systems into larger quantum computing platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal design.
• 3+ years of experience designing PCBs with GHz-rate data converters, FPGAs, or processors.

Preferred:

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Experience across multiple hardware design domains (FPGA, AMS, RF) from specification to deployment.
• Experience leading hardware development projects and system-level deployments;
• Experience with vendor management;
• Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of board-level design workflows including AMS, RF, and FPGA systems.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary range: $159,000–$231,000 per year (depending on experience and location).
• Additional compensation may include bonuses and equity;
