Job Description
Job Title: Developer, Automation Development and Testing. Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per week)
The position plays a key role in ensuring product quality across cutting-edge systems that support AI and quantum-era computing.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test cases to validate new product features
- Execute test cases within a test-driven development framework
- Identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and defects in existing test systems
- Improve and redesign test automation frameworks when needed
- Develop and maintain automation for hardware, firmware, and software components
- Create test plans, test data, and test execution strategies;
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with FlashSystem, Storage Scale, and test engineering teams
- Compare alternative testing approaches and clearly communicate trade-offs
- Ensure products meet quality, budget, and delivery timelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency in embedded development using C or Python
- Experience automating test cases using Python, C, Java, or similar languages
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Strong motivation, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work onsite in Tucson at least three days per week
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Experience testing Flash Systems, Storage Scale Systems, or storage products
- Strong understanding of computer architecture
- Knowledge of Flash memory technologies
- Experience with RTL design;
- Familiarity with Agile development principles and methods

- Travel requirement: up to 60 percent or three days per week, project dependent
