Product Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Product Manager. Location: San Jose, California, United States

The position sits at the intersection of security technology, product strategy, and collaboration with security practitioners, cloud partners, and enterprise users.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision for cryptographic and PKI capabilities within Vault
  • Understand the security landscape, including certificate management, key rotation, and crypto agility needs
  • Create detailed product strategy and roadmap documents focused on PKI and Post Quantum Cryptography transition
  • Prioritize the product roadmap using input from users, engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders
  • Conduct user research and translate findings into clear Product Requirement Documents;
  • Work closely with engineering teams to guide feature development and delivery
  • Communicate product updates and status to internal teams, partners, sales, and marketing
  • Support sales and marketing with product messaging, website content, whitepapers, FAQs, and sales materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of product management experience with developer or security products
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with cryptographic technologies, PKI, certificate management, KMS, or HSMs
  • Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise security environments;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align teams around shared goals
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and make trade offs

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Deep understanding of cryptographic primitives, algorithms, and key derivation functions
  • Knowledge of zero trust security models
  • Hands on experience or strategic planning exposure to Post Quantum Cryptography standards and migration
