Relations Manager, Quantum Computing

Job Description

Job Title: Developer Relations Manager – Quantum Computing, Higher Education and Research. Location: Remote (US - CA, TX, IL, NY)

This role blends strategy, communication, and deep technical knowledge to support academic and developer communities; You’ll lead collaborations, grow key partnerships, and drive adoption of NVIDIA’s quantum SDKs and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead NVIDIA’s quantum computing strategy for developers and ISVs
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to align technical goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities and academic research labs
• Drive early adoption of NVIDIA’s quantum SDKs, libraries, and tools;
• Discover high-impact problems NVIDIA can uniquely solve in this domain
• Plan and host events like meetups, lectures, and hackathons;
• Speak at industry, academic, and technical conferences
• Gather developer feedback and share it with internal teams to improve tools and products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Math, or similar field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
• 8+ years of professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the quantum computing industry
• Strong background in Quantum Information Science;
• Proven leadership in technical or strategic roles
• Excellent communication skills to present to both technical and general audiences

Preferred:

• Experience in scientific computing, HPC, or applied machine learning;
• Background in software development, especially scientific software

Compensation & Benefits:

• Level 4 base salary: $184,000 – $287,500
• Level 5 base salary: $224,000 – $356,500
• Eligible for equity and full benefits;
