Developer Relations Manager, Quantum

Job Description

Job Title: Developer Relations Manager, Quantum Computing - Higher Education and Research. Location: Remote - California, New York, Texas, Illinois

You will engage developers, customers, and influencers while communicating product needs back to internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead developer and ISV strategy across product, engineering, and applied research teams.
  • Manage and grow a team of Developer Relations Managers.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships in quantum computing;
  • Evangelize NVIDIA’s quantum tools, libraries, and SDKs to developers and collaborators.
  • Identify high-impact problems where NVIDIA solutions can create new opportunities.
  • Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market plans.
  • Host outreach activities such as meetups, hackathons, and lectures.
  • Represent NVIDIA at scientific, technical, and industry conferences;
  • Engage with the ecosystem by attending events, building networks, and understanding developer needs.
  • Provide clear communication back to internal product teams and address feature gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in physics, computer science, chemistry, applied mathematics, or a related engineering field.
  • PhD or master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in quantum information science and at least 5 years in the quantum computing industry.
  • Experience in technical leadership;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning.
  • Background in software development.
  • Experience developing scientific software.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range:
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD
    • Level 5: 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD
  • Salary depends on location, experience, and internal alignment.
  • Equity eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package;
  • NVIDIA is known for competitive compensation and advanced engineering work.
