Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (Entry Level). Location: Tucson, Arizona - San Jose, California - Houston, Texas

This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want to grow in site reliability engineering while working on advanced infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and incident response
• Maintain and improve system reliability, availability, and performance
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to ensure services are scalable and resilient
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management processes;
• Support testing, lifecycle management, and system operations
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for reliability engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 0.5 to 1 year of experience in software development, systems administration, or DevOps
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix systems and networking fundamentals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong interest in technology, engineering, and continuous learning
• Team-focused mindset with a growth-oriented attitude

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools;
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
