Job Title: Senior Advanced Software Engineer. Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
The position combines frontend engineering, documentation systems, data pipelines, and cross-team collaboration; Around 25 percent of the role is dedicated to building and maintaining data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical vision and roadmap for Quantinuum’s documentation website
- Design, develop, and maintain a fast, accessible, and responsive documentation platform
- Build and maintain frontend architecture, reusable UI components, and a consistent design system
- Improve developer and technical writer experience for content contribution
- Integrate content from markdown-based and headless CMS systems;
- Optimize site performance, accessibility, and SEO standards
- Propose and implement UI and UX improvements to increase user engagement
- Track and report documentation site KPIs such as traffic, usage patterns, and search effectiveness
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and quality assurance processes
- Present updates and roadmap plans to internal stakeholders;
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for documentation analytics and business reporting
- Translate business needs into scalable and reliable data models
- Support dashboards and reports used by leadership and partner teams
- Apply best practices in data governance and documentation
- Travel occasionally, up to 10 percent
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering production-level software
- Strong experience building frontend applications using React
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards
- Experience with Git and GitHub workflows
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. government requirements
- Must meet national security eligibility requirements
Preferred:
- Experience with modern frontend tools such as Next.js, Vite, or Webpack
- Experience with documentation frameworks or static site generators
- Familiarity with Markdown, MDX, and templating systems
- Experience with integration testing tools such as Cypress;
- Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines or analytics workflows
- Familiarity with SQL-based data warehouses and ETL or ELT pipelines
- Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Power BI
- Search integration experience using tools like Algolia or ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
- Experience with headless CMS platforms;
- Background in technical writing or developer documentation
- Open-source contributions related to developer tooling or documentation
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range
$141,000 to $162,000 per year
