Job Type: Research Fellowship (Student Research Internship)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in research projects focused on solving large-scale, real-world problems.
- Develop innovative solutions that contribute to scientific and technological advancement.
- Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and engineers across Google's research organizations.
- Contribute to exploratory research in areas such as:
- Machine Learning
- Deep Learning
- Computer Vision
- Natural Language Understanding
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Algorithm Optimization
- Quantum Information Science
- Data Science
- Software Engineering
- Support the development of next-generation computing technologies and intelligent systems.
- Work on projects aligned with Google's long-term research priorities.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Linguistics
- Statistics
- Biostatistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Operations Research
- Economics
- Natural Sciences
- Or a related technical field.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Machine Learning
- Deep Learning
- Computer Vision
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Natural Language Understanding
- Data Science
- Software Engineering
- Algorithmic Optimization
- Quantum Information Science
- Or a related computer science discipline.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to remain located in the United States for the duration of the program.
Preferred:
- Enrolled full-time and returning to the degree program after completing the internship.
- Currently studying at a university in the United States.
- Previous research experience through internships, laboratories, or full-time research positions.
- Experience publishing research papers in conferences or academic journals.
- Programming experience in one or more languages such as:
- Python
- Java
- JavaScript
- C/C++
Benefits and Compensation:
- Annual compensation: $98,000 to $131,000 USD, depending on skills, education, and experience.
