Job Description
Job Title: Senior Environment, Health, and Safety Engineer (EH&S) – 804. Location: Broomfield, CO / Brooklyn Park, MN / Albuquerque, NM, USA
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS/HSE) programs across global operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international safety regulations.
- Manage hazardous materials processes including inventory, approvals, transport, and disposal.
- Deliver safety training programs for engineers, scientists, technicians, and operational staff;
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance across multiple regions.
- Use HSE software tools and dashboards to track safety metrics and support data-driven decisions.
- Support global sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and resource conservation.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards;
- Lead or participate in incident investigations to improve safety systems and prevent recurrence.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all global sites.
- Travel up to 15% to support site safety requirements and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of EHS/HSE experience in industrial, technology, or operations environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills;
- Experience with regulatory compliance and hazard management systems.
- Proficiency in HSE software and reporting tools.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
- 8+ years of HSE experience in technology or industrial environments.
- Certifications such as CHMM, ASP, CSP, or equivalent safety credentials.
- Experience handling laser, electromagnetic, and cryogenic hazards;
- Strong leadership experience in safety culture development.
- Advanced analytical and risk assessment skills.
