Job Description
Job Title: Senior Manager, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Location: Remote - USA
This role works across business, legal, and technical teams to protect the company’s security posture while supporting innovation in quantum computing; You will build a modern GRC roadmap, guide enterprise risk management, and lead major audits and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the global GRC strategy and align it with frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOX.
- Modernize compliance by using automation, continuous control monitoring, and data-driven reporting;
- Manage enterprise risk programs and provide executives with clear updates about exposure, mitigation, and maturity.
- Oversee all audits, security certifications, and customer assurance programs.
- Work with leaders in IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance, HR, and R&D to embed compliance in daily operations and product development.
- Represent the company in discussions with customers and regulators by explaining security and compliance practices;
- Build and mentor a high-performing GRC team focused on excellence and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance, including 5 years in a leadership position;
- Strong understanding of modern compliance frameworks and regulatory standards, including NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOX.
- Experience using GRC platforms and automation tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills;
- Proven ability to balance strict compliance needs with broader business objectives.
