Job Title: Senior Manager, Quantum Networking Product Delivery. Location: Bothell, WA, United States

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of quantum physicists and engineers developing quantum networking systems.
• Oversee the transition of hardware systems from ion trapping stages to coherent gate operations.
• Set goals, measure impact, and guide the team through highly ambiguous and evolving conditions.
• Act as a hands-on technical contributor in hardware development and system integration;
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with optical, mechanical, software, and hardware domains.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics.
• Expertise in quantum computing using trapped ions or neutral atoms.
• 13+ years of experience in industry or national laboratories;
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering complex hardware systems at scale;
• Experience in full product development life cycle, from ideation to design validation testing (DVT).
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Preferred:

• 15+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams;
• Technical leadership in trapped-ion quantum computing systems.
• Background in engineering and productization of complex physical systems.
• Experience in quantum networking.

• Base salary range: $169,437 - $221,837 (depending on location, experience, and qualifications)
