Job Description
Job Title: Fabrication Data and Yield Hardware Engineer – Quantum AI. Location: Goleta, CA, USA
Responsibilities:
- Analyze fabrication and production data to detect yield issues and determine root causes.
- Collaborate with fabrication and process engineers to develop solutions and improve production yield;
- Develop and maintain data analysis tools, dashboards, and visualizations to support engineering decisions.
- Conduct failure analysis on quantum hardware to recommend and implement corrective actions;
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and maintain process stability and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience with conventional microfabrication techniques (e.g., lithography, deposition, etching).
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis and experiment planning;
- Familiarity with microfabrication characterization techniques.
Preferred:
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as NumPy, Pandas, R, or JMP;
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
Benefits:
- US base salary range: $126,000 – $181,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Final compensation determined by role, level, and experience;
