Job Title: Senior Product Marketing Manager – IBM Quantum. Location: New York, NY, USA
Job Type: Professional, Full-Time, Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Lead product positioning and messaging across quantum hardware, software, platforms, and services.
- Define how IBM Quantum products are understood and adopted in the market.
- Drive go-to-market strategy for product and hardware launches from planning through execution and performance analysis.
- Translate complex quantum research and engineering outputs into clear, structured narratives for technical and enterprise audiences.
- Create marketing content including white papers, demos, case studies, presentations, and technical narratives.
- Develop use-case frameworks aligned with customer needs and business value;
- Collaborate with technical teams to align product capabilities with market positioning.
- Represent IBM Quantum as a subject matter expert in internal and external engagements.
- Nurture and expand the global ecosystem of researchers, developers, and enterprise partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of product marketing experience in highly technical or deep-tech B2B environments.
- Proven ability to position and market complex technical products to multiple audience levels.
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify advanced technical concepts;
- Experience working in cross-functional organizations and influencing without direct authority.
- Ability to operate as a technical and strategic representative of the organization.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and ecosystem.
- Practical experience with Qiskit.
- Experience in high-performance computing or emerging technology product marketing.
- Strong understanding of enterprise adoption of advanced technology platforms.

- Competitive salary range: $134,000 to $231,000 per year depending on experience and location.
