Job Description

Job Title: Research Scientist - AI Foundations. Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cutting-edge research projects in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Develop innovative AI techniques to solve complex analytical problems using rigorous quantitative methods.
  • Conduct research on advanced AI topics, including long-horizon memory for self-evolving models.
  • Apply AI research to enterprise document understanding and quantum computing applications.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate research algorithms for usability, performance, and scalability;
  • Integrate research algorithms into production-ready systems.
  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate algorithm performance and user impact.
  • Publish research findings in leading AI conferences and journals such as NeurIPS, CVPR, and ICML.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and researchers across AI, quantum computing, cloud, and high-performance computing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working with large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI models.
  • Strong knowledge of transformer architectures and statistical inference;
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and engineering skills.
  • Demonstrated research experience through publications in leading AI conferences.

Preferred:

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience developing AI memory models for long-horizon reasoning.
  • Experience building self-evolving AI agents and intelligent memory systems.
  • Experience conducting advanced AI research with practical real-world applications.

  • Annual salary: $160,130 - $216,646, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
