Job Description
Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect. Location: Boca Raton, Florida, USA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver quantum optimization solutions for customer applications using D-Wave's quantum computing platforms.
- Build customer applications utilizing D-Wave quantum computers and internal development tools.
- Collaborate with delivery leads, application developers, and solution architects to ensure successful project execution.
- Analyze customer business challenges and map them to D-Wave's hybrid solvers and advanced quantum computing systems.
- Gather customer requirements and lead brainstorming sessions to identify optimal quantum-based solutions.
- Develop mathematical models and optimization algorithms for real-world business problems;
- Design, prototype, test, and deploy production-ready hybrid quantum applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Share customer feedback and project insights with product and engineering teams to help prioritize new features.
- Present technical concepts, solution designs, and project outcomes to customers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing applications in Python.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimization techniques;
- Experience working directly with customers, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Experience with optimization tools and techniques such as Gurobi, CPLEX, genetic algorithms, and simulated annealing.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Experience developing production applications that solve complex business problems.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Passion for developing high-quality Python applications.
Preferred:
- Experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NetworkX.
- Experience developing hybrid quantum-classical optimization applications.
- Experience serving customers in manufacturing, logistics, retail, or service industries.
- Experience leading solution design from business requirements through implementation.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Annual salary: $165,000 to $205,000 USD.
