Job Description
Job Title: Financial Reporting and Equity Administration Staff Accountant. Location: College Park, Maryland, United States
Responsibilities:
- Prepare schedules supporting financial statement disclosures and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Perform analytical reviews and coordinate across internal teams and subsidiaries.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors;
- Compile data for quarterly equity rollforward and earnings per share calculations.
- Coordinate with Legal and Payroll teams to process and reconcile equity data within equity platforms.
- Process bi-weekly equity grants by collecting and transforming employee data.
- Guide employees through equity grant processing workflows.
- Work with People and Payroll teams from acquired companies to interpret and process employee data.
- Support year-end tax reporting by collecting, preparing, and reconciling compensation and tax data.
- Design and improve internal processes, identifying automation opportunities;
- Assist with equity-related employee queries and system implementation procedures.
- Contribute to financial systems improvements and equity administration tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- SEC reporting experience preferred.
- Experience in Big Four or national accounting firms.
- Knowledge of equity compensation systems and processes;
- Experience with tools such as Dayforce, Papaya, or E*Trade.
- Experience handling confidential compensation data.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly.
- Experience working with high-volume, fast-changing environments.

- Base salary range: $73,439 to $95,767 annually.
