Job Description
Job Title: Technical Product Marketing Manager. Location: United States, Remote
Responsibilities:
- Lead messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for PennyLane, Xanadu's open-source software framework for quantum machine learning and quantum computing.
- Work at the intersection of quantum physics, software engineering, and business strategy.
- Partner with engineering, product management, and business development teams to connect technical development with commercial growth.
- Help shape how developers, researchers, and enterprise R&D teams use PennyLane.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to inform product planning and synthesize technical feedback.
- Align PennyLane's development roadmap with market demands;
- Define, refine, and document core positioning and value propositions for PennyLane.
- Design, execute, and scale multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting developers, students, and industry scientists.
- Develop campaigns that increase market share and generate qualified business pipeline.
- Conduct competitive analysis and SWOT evaluations across the quantum software ecosystem.
- Monitor market trends and identify technical differentiators.
- Create technical marketing assets, including whitepapers, blog posts, customer stories, and technical presentations.
- Represent Xanadu as a technical evangelist at industry events and analyst briefings;
- Measure and report the impact of product marketing initiatives.
- Track platform adoption, developer engagement, and campaign contributions to the overall revenue pipeline.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or technical developer marketing within open-source software, cloud computing, AI/ML, or deep technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience partnering with software engineering teams on product planning, messaging, positioning, and competitive analysis.
- Proven experience designing marketing campaigns that attract customers and generate measurable sales or adoption pipeline.
- Experience bringing technical products to market;
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and impactful content and hands-on demonstrations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional project management skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and PennyLane.
- Familiarity with classical machine learning frameworks.
- Experience launching and scaling open-source developer tools or enterprise deep-tech platforms.
