Job Title: Principal Delivery Consultant, Emerging Technologies, Sports, Media and Entertainment

Location: Dallas, TX, USA, with additional listed locations in Jersey City, NJ; Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Santa Monica, CA; Denver, CO; and East Palo Alto, CA

Responsibilities:

• Own the full engagement lifecycle for Sports, Media, and Entertainment customers, from discovery and target-state architecture through production deployment.
• Lead discovery sessions and define target-state architectures for customer technology initiatives.
• Build proof-of-concept and production-grade cloud solutions following AWS Well-Architected best practices.
• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions, including training and inference pipelines;
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, prompt engineering solutions, and agentic AI workflows.
• Configure media processing workflows for applications such as fan engagement, venue operations, content workflows, and media production.
• Design data platforms using lakehouse and medallion architectures, streaming pipelines, and open table formats.
• Develop reusable architectural artifacts and identify technology patterns across customers and the broader industry.
• Partner with AWS Service teams to influence roadmap priorities and develop emerging capabilities.
• Mentor team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives;
• Contribute to the Emerging Technology practice roadmap and organizational capability development.
• Work with professional leagues, collegiate athletics organizations, streaming platforms, studios, and live event venues.
• Guide customers through emerging technologies including generative AI, agentic AI, computer vision, and modern data platforms.
• Manage up to four concurrent customer engagements.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in Sports, Media, Entertainment, or related industries.
• Familiarity with broadcast or OTT content delivery workflows or venue operations;
• Experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including ML training and inference pipelines, data platforms, or media processing workflows.
• Experience delivering generative AI solutions to production, including RAG architectures, prompt engineering, foundation model integration, or agentic workflow orchestration.

Preferred:

• AWS Professional-level certifications, such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional.
• Experience with AWS AI/ML and media services, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, AgentCore, AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaConvert, IVS, and Amazon Personalize.
• Experience designing lakehouse or medallion data architectures.
• Experience with open table formats such as Apache Iceberg and streaming technologies such as Kinesis and Kafka.
• Knowledge of league data systems and governance frameworks;
• Knowledge of player and biometric data handling, content licensing, and privacy regulations relevant to sports and media.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based third-party data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary listed for Dallas, TX: $182,800 to $247,300 per year.
