Brand and Content Strategist

Job Description

Job Title: Brand and Content Strategist. Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, United States

In this role, you will help shape IBM’s brand narrative, create engaging content strategies, and position IBM’s data for AI offerings in a competitive global market; This is a high-impact opportunity to work across teams, influence messaging, and develop innovative content that resonates with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand, messaging, and content strategies tailored to target audiences.
  • Lead the creation of distinctive brand-to-demand journeys across the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with digital strategists, field marketers, media partners, and sales teams to bring offerings to life.
  • Produce compelling, creative content beyond traditional formats like white papers or demos.
  • Apply data-driven insights to test, measure, and optimize strategies for impact;
  • Work closely with internal and external creative partners to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Support global initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging across geographies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand, or content strategy roles with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to design and execute content strategies.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel engagement (social, digital, media, field, sales);
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional brand and content projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Analytical mindset to identify opportunities and synthesize insights into recommendations.
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple geographies.
  • Background in developing product messaging or product-focused content;
  • Growth mindset with ability to experiment, adapt, and optimize strategies quickly.
