Job Title: Manager, Strategy and Central Business Operations. Location: Palo Alto, California, United States
PsiQuantum’s Strategy and Central Business Operations team seeks a talented professional to support executive operations, corporate strategy & cross-functional initiatives; This role offers exposure to top leadership and plays a vital part in shaping the company’s long-term direction.
Responsibilities:
Corporate & Functional Strategy
- Support the development and execution of company-wide strategic plans with the CEO, founders, and leadership team.
- Define priorities and guide resource allocation for critical business initiatives;
- Identify organizational challenges and support resolution strategies.
Executive Enablement & Strategic Alignment
- Drive clarity and alignment across executive teams on goals and metrics.
- Provide analytical and operational support for data-driven decision-making;
- Prepare presentations and materials for leadership offsites, strategic sessions, and major stakeholder engagements.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
- Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product to execute large-scale projects and company-wide initiatives.
- Participate in market expansion and go-to-market programs to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Enhance internal processes including KPI tracking, planning cycles, and information systems.
- Develop dashboards and templates that improve reporting and executive visibility;
- Coordinate between People, Finance, and functional departments to streamline workflows.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a strategic operations role.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, economics, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field (advanced degree preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to handle complex issues and recommend actionable solutions;
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proven success managing high-impact projects in fast-moving environments;
- Interest or exposure to deep tech, quantum computing, semiconductors, or computational sciences.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive base salary (Bay Area: $165K–$185K; U.S. outside Bay Area: $140K–$165K).
