Supply Chain Materials Planner & Data

Job Description

Job Title: Staff Supply Chain Materials Planner and Data Analyst. Location: Milpitas, California, United States

The position focuses on building accurate forecasts, improving supplier performance, and creating reliable reporting systems that support both early-stage and mature operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain material requirement plans that support production and new product introduction schedules.
  • Identify supply risks and resolve shortages or excess material issues before they impact operations;
  • Work with engineering and procurement teams to ensure material readiness for product launches and engineering changes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate item master data, lead times, and planning parameters.
  • Track material readiness with outsourced manufacturing partners;
  • Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for material availability and supplier quality.
  • Support improvements to the ERP system and standardize reporting tools across the supply chain team.

Qualifications:

  • Eight or more years of experience in supply chain management, materials planning, procurement, or data analytics within high tech or startup environments.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, ideally Netsuite or similar platforms.
  • Solid skills in analytics tools such as Tableau and Excel;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
  • Deep understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain workflows in both in-house and outsourced production settings.
  • Experience building new processes in early stage and established organizations.
  • Strong background in new product introduction materials planning;
  • Continuous improvement mindset. Lean or Six Sigma experience is helpful.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments.

Compensation:

U.S. base pay range: 153,000 to 170,000 USD. Bay Area base pay range: 185,000 to 200,000 USD; Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and business needs. Full time roles include equity and benefits.
