Director, Advanced Computing Business

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Director, Advanced Computing Business. Location: Remote, United States

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers to understand complex computational challenges and align solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor across pre-sales, deployment, and post-sales engagements.
  • Communicate product capabilities and long-term vision to both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Support complex technology evaluations and guide customers toward successful outcomes;
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements inform product development.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable and practical advanced computing solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, customer briefings, and strategic engagements.
  • Contribute technical insights to strengthen go-to-market strategies and solution offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as solution engineering, systems delivery, advanced computing, product engineering, or technical sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in high-performance computing, advanced computational systems, AI/ML infrastructure, or similar technologies.
  • Deep understanding of hardware and software architectures in complex environments.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value;
  • Experience working with both executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and customer-focused mindset with a proven track record of building trusted relationships.

Preferred:

  • Experience or familiarity with quantum computing systems and platforms.
  • Background in scientific computing or large-scale system integration.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary range: $156,800 to $291,200 per year.
