Job Description
Job Title: Engagement Manager. Location: Remote (United States)
You will report to the Director of Professional Services and act as the key point of contact for client engagements; You will manage expectations, lead cross-functional teams, and align client needs with company objectives to drive measurable outcomes; The role also includes collaborating on proposals and engaging with top consulting firms and application software partners.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and tailoring quantum optimization solutions accordingly
- Manage end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, and budget control;
- Develop financial business cases that communicate the ROI of quantum optimization solutions;
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure project alignment and issue resolution
- Coordinate executive-level communications and project reviews with clients and D-Wave leaders
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts;
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive steps to keep projects on track
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on project status and metrics
- Participate in sales calls and co-develop proposals and statements of work
- Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal product and engineering teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent experience is a plus)
- 7+ years of experience leading complex software or technology delivery projects at scale
- Experience in customer consulting, preferably in enterprise or high-tech environments;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior team members;
- Deep understanding of optimization solutions, ideally with exposure to quantum technologies
- Proven experience with executive-level presentations and partner relationship management
- Flexibility to work across various industries and rapidly learn new business domains
