Job Description
Job Title: Hardware Development Engineer, Quantum Computing. Location: Pasadena, CA, USA
(Additional possible hiring locations across the United States including Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Austin, New York City, Minneapolis, and the DMV area.)
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, debugging, validation, and optimization of quantum computing hardware products.
- Work alongside senior electrical engineers throughout the complete hardware design lifecycle, from concept through production.
- Participate in engineering builds and gain experience with high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary internal teams and external partners to define, execute, and test innovative products.
- Perform schematic design for hardware systems;
- Validate hardware systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Develop automated test tools using technologies such as LabVIEW and HPVEE.
- Travel as needed to support engineering builds and product validation activities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of material and manufacturing methods.
- Understanding of schematic design and debugging techniques.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools;
- Experience with analog and digital embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience working on embedded systems projects.
- Must be enrolled in or have completed an academic program physically located in the United States.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities;
- Ability to work successfully in collaborative engineering environments.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Base salary range: $122,600–$160,000 annually for Pasadena, CA.
- Additional compensation may include sign-on bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Other Information:
