PR Manager, Quantum Computing

Job Description

Job Title: Senior PR Manager, Quantum Computing. Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

You will work closely with business leaders, marketing teams, and industry partners during a period of rapid innovation driven by advances in AI and quantum computing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the global communications strategy for quantum computing technologies
• Work closely with business leaders, marketing teams, and external partners to develop strong and clear narratives
• Create key messages that connect with technical and non-technical audiences;
• Pitch stories and manage relationships with reporters to secure high-impact media coverage;
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with general, technology, and quantum computing media
• Identify proactive PR opportunities beyond product launches and announcements
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail

Qualifications:

• 12 or more years of experience in public relations or communications at leading technology companies or agencies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience;
• Proven experience leading media relations in high-pressure or high-visibility environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong ability to translate complex technical topics into clear and engaging stories
• Highly organized with strong project management skills
• Creative, collaborative, and proactive working style

Preferred:

• 6 to 8 or more years of PR experience in AI, enterprise technology, or quantum computing
• Strong interest in AI, enterprise systems, and quantum computing trends;
• Established relationships with technology and quantum computing reporters

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary range: 168,000 USD to 270,250 USD, depending on location and experience
