Product Manager, Quantum AI

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Quantum Product, Quantum AI, Hardware. Location: Mountain View, CA, Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, Goleta, CA, Los Angeles, CA.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of quantum hardware, software, research, and business strategy; You will define product goals, shape the roadmap, and guide quantum hardware offerings from early concept to market launch.

Responsibilities:

• Define clear product goals and long-term vision for quantum hardware products.
• Conduct deep market and user research to understand researcher and customer needs.
• Translate complex quantum hardware capabilities into clear product requirements;
• Own and manage the full product lifecycle, from idea to launch and adoption.
• Build and maintain the hardware product roadmap, balancing innovation with feasibility.
• Lead go-to-market strategy, including positioning, pricing support, and technical messaging.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, research, marketing, and sales teams.
• Ensure operational readiness, reliability, and long-term serviceability of products;
• Stay current with trends in quantum computing, quantum AI, and advanced research systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert for quantum hardware products across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 3 years of experience leading products from early concept to launch;
• Experience with quantum computing, cloud platforms, high-performance computing, or advanced research infrastructure.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree in a quantum-related field such as Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience managing technical or cloud-based products and services.
• Background in Quantum Physics, Engineering, or related technologies;
• Experience developing business strategy with executive leadership.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary range: $183,000 to $271,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
• Additional compensation includes bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
