Program Manager, Technology & Security

Job Description

Job Title: Staff Program Manager, Enterprise Technology and Security/Compliance. Location: Remote, United States

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic Enterprise Technology and Security (ETS) programs, from planning and execution to risk management and stakeholder reporting.
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives involving Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Information Technology, Security, and enterprise transformation.
  • Drive governance, risk, and compliance programs across cloud infrastructure, IT systems, and security operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and related security standards;
  • Develop and maintain scalable program management methodologies, governance frameworks, and operational playbooks.
  • Serve as the primary owner for program status reporting, milestone tracking, resource coordination, and executive-level communication across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering, legal, executive leadership, and enterprise technology teams to define objectives, manage dependencies, and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while maintaining stakeholder confidence through proactive communication.
  • Analyze program performance metrics and implement continuous improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Build executive dashboards and reports that communicate program health, risks, dependencies, and key insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience managing complex enterprise technology, security, or compliance programs.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), IT transformation, or security initiatives.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and executive communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience using project and program management platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience creating executive dashboards and program reporting for senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and successfully lead complex cross-functional programs.

Preferred:

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification.
  • Experience working within quantum computing, deep technology, or similarly advanced technology organizations.
  • Experience configuring and customizing project management tools to support governance and operational workflows.
