Quantum EDA Junior Developer

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum EDA Junior Developer. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, United States

You will help maintain existing tools, build new ones, and support the internal EDA workflow used across several hardware design teams.

Responsibilities:

• Build software tools that support the design of quantum processors and related hardware modules.
• Maintain and improve existing internal EDA tools;
• Design and improve user interfaces that make complex design workflows easier for internal teams.
• Verify tools using sound software development methods;
• Provide support and debugging help to internal users across several teams.
• Work closely with hardware researchers, engineers, and operations groups to meet design needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• High familiarity with Linux;
• Software engineering background with version control experience, especially git.

Preferred:

• Background or exposure to circuit design.
• Experience with Tcl, C++, or Rust;
• Experience with CI and CD pipelines.
• Interest in quantum computing hardware or EDA workflows.
