Job Title: Quantum Engagement Manager. Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

As a Quantum Engagement Manager, you will join the IBM Quantum Ecosystem Team; This elite team supports partners in solving real-world problems using quantum technology; You will manage a portfolio of clients, helping them use IBM's quantum tools, drive their success, and spot new opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage long-term client relationships across industries
• Guide clients in exploring and applying IBM’s quantum technologies
• Stay updated on technical advancements and share them with partners
• Manage multiple complex projects with clarity and purpose;
• Identify business opportunities within your client portfolio;
• Collaborate across IBM teams to deliver impactful solutions;
• Act as a cultural and strategic liaison between IBM and client teams
• Deliver strategic recommendations backed by data and insight

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a STEM or related field
• 3+ years of experience in business or technology strategy, consulting, or client-facing roles
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills;
• Proven project management abilities and detail orientation
• Clear communicator, both in writing and presentations;
• Passion for emerging technologies, especially quantum computing
• Able to work in fast-moving, complex business environments

Preferred:

• PhD in a STEM or adjacent field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in change management or digital transformation
• Familiarity with quantum computing tools like Qiskit;
• Experience developing and executing business strategy
• Ability to lead cross-functional and international teams
