Sales Incubation Lead, Quantum AI

Job Description

Job Title: Sales Incubation Lead, Quantum AI. Location: Washington, D.C., USA

This role focuses on shaping long-term partnerships, guiding agreement negotiations, and aligning Google Quantum AI’s roadmap with national mission needs; You will act as the main link between government stakeholders and internal product, research, legal, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with US Government stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Position Google Quantum AI as a long-term strategic partner for national mission capabilities.
  • Lead the full capture lifecycle for US Government programs, from early opportunity identification to contract execution.
  • Identify early-adopter government program offices and educate stakeholders on Google Quantum AI’s roadmap.
  • Translate government needs into actionable insights for product and technical leadership;
  • Lead and manage complex, multi-year, multi-party agreement negotiations with US Government customers.
  • Structure and negotiate non-standard agreements such as OTAs and CRADAs in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Product teams.
  • Analyze the federal funding and policy landscape to identify new programs, mandates, and funding vehicles;
  • Guide internal strategy for incubating and scaling new US Government business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or sales with the federal government.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing agreements or strategic partnerships.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with US Government policy, regulations, appropriations, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), GWACs, and Multi-Agency Contracts (MAC);
  • Understanding of government research institutions, academic funding models, and enterprise IT transformation projects.
  • Working knowledge of quantum computing, cloud platforms, high-performance computing, or advanced research infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $168,000 to $249,000 per year, depending on role, level, and location.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits;
  • Final compensation is based on skills, experience, education, and work location.
