Senior Technical Project Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Technical Project Engineer. Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA

You will work closely with suppliers, engineers, finance teams, and leadership to make sure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at high quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main project manager for trap fabrication projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and external partners
  • Plan and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables
  • Track progress and ensure on-time delivery of hardware and technologies
  • Lead regular project status meetings and reviews
  • Communicate clearly with technical, product, program, and leadership teams
  • Share updates on scope changes, risks, timelines, and overall progress;
  • Quickly escalate any risks or delays that may affect schedules or technical goals
  • Manage execution of the annual project plan with program management and finance teams
  • Forecast project costs, invoices, and payments with global finance teams
  • Help gather requirements and create statements of work for new projects
  • Evaluate and support new regional and global project opportunities
  • Follow and uphold program management best practices and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 3 years of experience in milestone-driven technical program management
  • Must be a U.S. Person, including U.S. citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, refugee, or asylee;
  • Must not be a People’s Republic of China or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen, due to U.S. government security rules

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication used in integrated circuits, sensors, or MEMS devices
  • Experience managing projects through the full life cycle
  • Strong ability to manage risks and budgets;
  • Ability to predict problems early and solve them before they grow
  • Experience working with remote or international teams

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $109,000 to $136,000 per year
  • Final pay depends on skills, education, and experience
  • This role is non-incentive eligible
