Sr. Procurement Buyer

Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Procurement Buyer – 872. Location: Broomfield, Colorado, USA

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage procurement of materials and services aligned with business needs.
• Run RFQ processes including supplier selection, purchase order placement, and delivery tracking.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Manage supplier communication and coordinate across technical and functional teams.
• Align procurement strategy with data, analytics, reporting, and visualization initiatives;
• Ensure suppliers acknowledge purchase orders and meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Support timely payment processing under agreed contractual terms.
• Lead implementation of procurement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support project milestones by aligning procurement timelines with business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience.
• Experience working with technical goods and services procurement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Experience working in fast-paced and cross-functional environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP-based MRP systems.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with engineering and technical teams in quantum or advanced technology sectors.
• High bias for action and strong problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to communicate with leadership and manage complex procurement workflows.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary range: $92,000 – $116,000 annually.
