Job Description
Job Title: Superconducting Quantum Computing Device Researcher. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, United States. Job Type: Entry Level / Research Fellowship
Responsibilities:
- Design and model superconducting qubit devices to improve quantum error rates.
- Characterize device performance and communicate results with clarity and precision.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including fabrication, cryogenics, and quantum control.
- Document findings comprehensively to support team knowledge-sharing and future development;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable export control regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physics or a related field;
- Experience in qubit physics modeling, measurement, and characterization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in Physics or a related discipline.
- Deep expertise in superconducting qubit modeling and experimental analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals;
- Experience with scientific software development, especially using Python.
