Job Description

Job Title: Superconducting Quantum Computing Device Researcher. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, United States. Job Type: Entry Level / Research Fellowship

Responsibilities:

  • Design and model superconducting qubit devices to improve quantum error rates.
  • Characterize device performance and communicate results with clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including fabrication, cryogenics, and quantum control.
  • Document findings comprehensively to support team knowledge-sharing and future development;
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable export control regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physics or a related field;
  • Experience in qubit physics modeling, measurement, and characterization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Ph.D. in Physics or a related discipline.
  • Deep expertise in superconducting qubit modeling and experimental analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals;
  • Experience with scientific software development, especially using Python.
