Job Description
Job Title: PCBA Test Engineer. Location: Palo Alto, California
We are looking for a PCBA Test Engineer to help build and scale our electronics control systems; You will design test validation frameworks and collaborate closely with teams working on firmware, FPGA, PCB design, control software, & systems engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test systems for regression testing, stress testing, and real-time analytics.
- Build and maintain tools for automated bug reporting and performance tracking.
- Create and manage test equipment for runtime testing and data collection;
- Design integration tools to validate system performance under different operational conditions.
- Contribute to control electronics software design and testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PCB or system-level testing;
- Strong understanding of FPGA-based systems and electronics controls.
- Experience with test automation and reporting tools.
Salary & Compensation:
- U.S. Range: $120,000 – $145,000
- Bay Area Range: $147,000 – $168,000
- Compensation includes base salary, equity, and full benefits. Actual pay may vary based on skills, location, and experience.
