Job Description
Job Title: Quantum PDK Architect. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, United States
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of IBM Quantum's internal-technology PDK release strategy.
- Coordinate PDK component delivery across design, fabrication, EDA, and test teams;
- Oversee physical verification tasks including DRC/LVS/modeling/environment setup and OA technology definition.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for PDK component releases;
- Contribute to the continual improvement of design-to-fabrication methodologies using modern EDA tools.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Hands-on experience with CMOS design and tapeout processes in Cadence, Synopsys, or Keysight design frameworks.
- Proven background in CMOS PDK deployment and administration;
- Strong understanding of Git, Linux, and Python in hardware workflows.
- Experience in technical project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SVRF, PXL, PVL coding for physical verification.
- Experience in microwave engineering and experimental chip technologies.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices in hardware design environments;
- Knowledge of the OpenAccess database standard.
