Hardware Developer (Model)

Job Description

Job Title: Hardware Developer (Model-Hardware). Location: Yorktown Heights, NY, United States. Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and delivery of quantum processor units and test sites.
  • Collaborate with experimental teams to improve model-hardware correlation;
  • Develop and apply methodologies for hardware modeling and simulation;
  • Utilize microwave engineering tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys AEDT, and Cadence Spectre for quantum device simulation.
  • Contribute to exploratory research and production-level quantum hardware development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in microwave engineering and high-frequency testing;
  • Experience with simulation tools like ADS, HFSS, AEDT, SpectreRF, or similar;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred:

  • PhD in a related discipline.
  • Experience in quantum device modeling or quantum computing theory.
  • Familiarity with quantum processor design and performance analysis.
