Quantum Engagement Lead

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Engagement Lead, Channel Partnerships. Location: Yorktown Heights (NY), Cambridge (MA), Chicago (IL), New York (NY), United States

As a Quantum Engagement Lead, Channel Partnerships, you will work with IBM business partners to scale sales, accelerate adoption of IBM’s quantum technology, and build strong relationships across organizations and industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver initiatives that help business partners bring IBM Quantum technology to market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, startups, HPC centers, and global stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on quantum computing strategy and roadmap;
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication with both internal teams and external executives.
  • Advocate for partner success while aligning with IBM Quantum’s growth goals;
  • Design and run partner enablement programs including training, resources, and technical support.
  • Represent IBM Quantum at conferences, events, and partner-led engagements as a thought leader.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quantum computing with strong knowledge of the IBM Quantum platform.
  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience in management or technology strategy consulting.
  • Experience managing executive-level relationships and influencing stakeholders;
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategy execution skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with Qiskit (e.g., Qiskit Developer Certificate or Advocate status).
  • Experience at top management consulting firms;
  • Proven ability to build and execute go-to-market strategies.
